HUJI Post-Doc Renana Keydar is organizing an international workshop: “(Re)Imagining Justice in Contemporary Conflicts: Interdisciplinary Perspectives

News from Dec 09, 2015

Renana is organizing an international workshop on "(Re)Imagining Justice in Contemporary Conflicts: Interdisciplinary Perspectives" under the joint auspices of Stanford University and the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute (Jerusalem, December 16-17, 2015). Beginning with the changing nature of contemporary global and intractable conflicts, The (Re)Imagining Justice workshop asks what the implications of these transformations are on humanity’s pursuit of justice in the face of man-made violence and how such changes impact historical, ethical, cultural and legal meanings of justice. Building on the insights and directions that will emerge from the workshop, in 2016, Renana will direct a year-long research group at the Van Leer Institute on "The Future of Justice: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Justice in the Context of Contemporary Conflicts."
